Ah, the weak winter light that Alaska does so well. Isn't it lovely?
I think it looks even better from the underside of snow ladden needles, like rabbits would see it.
....or dogs. Somehow I don't think my dogs have seen that view. Certainly not on this trip, what with Smokey on skis to interfere with and a ball to chase.
....and dancing in the woods to perform.
Skiing with dogs works best when you keep them out in front of you where you can see them. Of course when they bring you a ball to kick it gets a little complicated.
But they manage.
